Native to Tulsa, Oklahoma, but raised in Northwest Arkansas, Josh returned to his roots to receive his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Oklahoma State University. While studying architecture and design in college, Josh simultaneously pursued filmmaking roles, gaining experience on various awarded short and feature-length films across Oklahoma and Arkansas. This broadened his design thinking, allowing him to better understand the importance of efficiency and perception, and teaching him to keep just enough of a competitive spirit to keep design fun.
At Zervas, Josh brings his photographic skillset and image-based mindset to innovate and intuit high-level design. He is developing his architectural literacy with the high-level architects alongside him, and is working toward licensure.
