Jennifer Moehl serves as Interior Designer, bringing more than 15 years of experience in commercial interior design and project management to Zervas. Her technical skills in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite aide in the proficiency of the studio while her artistic talent and business-oriented skills allow her to develop creative solutions for commercial spaces of all sizes.
Prior to joining Zervas, Jennifer worked in Denver, CO with a hospitality architecture and design firm as well as a commercial interiors tenant improvement firm. For each company she wore many hats including designer, studio manager, specifying agent and purchasing agent. Her ability to leverage technology to transform a company’s design vision into reality helped her forge strong working relationships with her clients. She also earned a reputation for delivering projects that exceeded client expectations while remaining on budget.
In addition to her work in Denver, Jennifer began teaching as an Adjunct Instructor at Arapahoe Community College in 2007. She teaches AutoCAD classes for Interior Design as well as Architecture, Engineering, and Construction majors.
Fascinated by art, architecture, and design from a young age, Thomas’ interests have continued to grow, leading him to earn his Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Being a strong conceptual thinker and a passionate designer, Thomas enjoys working on projects that present challenging design opportunities, and loves any chance to learn something new. He has the ability to see the practicality and functionality of a space, while also maintaining a unique and interesting design approach. Thomas gained experience at firms in Austin, TX and Seattle, WA before joining the team at Zervas.
Yeng earned her Bachelor of Science from Brown College in Interior Design with a focus on architectural interiors. Her concern for the diminishing use of resources formed a redesign interest accomplished through innovative design and re-purposing of the Minneapolis/ St. Paul railway system as a mobile metropolitan venue. She has also done extensive research of the Montessori philosophy and designed classroom planning employing Montessori methods.
She brings experience in design build, hospitality, knowledge of materials and product innovation, and CAD applications. She has won the People’s Choice Award and the Trillium Award for best interiors in the Builder’s Association Parade of Homes.
Her interest is to explore and expand options for ADA environments and designs.
Kelsey, a Bellingham local, returned to town after earning her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture in 2011 from the University of Washington. With a previous architecture firm she gained experience with educational and residential design. She enjoys making building models and doing project renderings.
While at the University of Washington Kelsey had the opportunity to study abroad in Chandigarh, India, a city designed by the renowned modernist architect Le Corbusier. During this trip she did field research for a book on the preservation of architectural icons in the age of modernization.

Matt Reeves has joined the team at Zervas. Matt grew up in Richland, WA and earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from Washington State University in 2009. He continued his education at the WSU Interdisciplinary Design Institute in Spokane, WA while working at a local architecture firm. While pursuing his master’s degree Matt worked on his thesis, which involved researching Transition Initiatives and how they could be implemented as community led responses to peak oil, climate change, and current global trends. Upon completion of his Master of Architecture degree in December 2011, Matt continued to work in Spokane, and later in Seattle, WA. Since joining the Zervas team he has worked on the Health Professions Building for Whatcom Community College, WECU's Meridian Place, PSE's Bellingham Service Center and various residential projects. Matt is excited to work with a firm that has such a strong presence and connection to its local community.
